A 5-MONTH-LONG,PRODUCTION BASED TRAINING PROGRAM
Actor Factor invites working actors, performers and freshers to work on the essentials of realistic acting performance. The program will be divided into a number of stages: Firstly, using the work of eminent mythologist Joseph Campbell, the company will create a basic structure. This, in turn, will inform a series of exercises primarily focused on 20th century realism (Michael Chekhov character development, Meisner technique, Stanislavsky’s 11 questions) in order to create believable, three-dimensional characters. From here, the mythological and realist aspects will be blended together in the creation of a script based production, and culminate in a series of performances.’

Tom Edward Kane is an actor, director, writer and composer from London, England; he is a graduate of the RADA Acting BA. Tom has worked extensively in theatre, film and television with such eminent creatives as Mike Leigh, Sylvestra Le Touzel and Nicholas Hytner, Most recently taking on the role of ‘Hartcliffe’ in BBC Radio 4’s ‘Fire in the Bookshop’, and working as Composer for Philippa Quinn’s ‘Erin’s Isle’ at the Gielgud Theatre.

Reborn 2 is open to all actors, dancers, musicians, visual artists and almost anyone who is looking to explore and study how to create compelling characters and perform with an ensemble.
AGE GROUP 16+
SELECTION PROCEDURE

Applications are invited from actors, performing artists from all disciplines.

Prior training or experience in performing arts is NOT mandatory.

Shortlisted candidates will go through a workshop based audition.

List of successful candidates will be announced after the auditions.

There is no audition fee.
PROGRAM FEE
Rs 9000/- per month
The total program fee for 5-months amounting to Rs 45,000/- is payable in two installments of Rs 22,500 each, first at the beginning of the program and the second by 01 Dec 2019.
